Both "Joker" and "The Dark Knight" are iconic films that offer different interpretations of the Batman universe. "The Dark Knight" is a more traditional superhero film with a focus on Batman's battle against the Joker, played brilliantly by Heath Ledger. On the other hand, "Joker" is a character study that delves into the origins of the Joker, portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, and explores themes of mental illness and societal issues. Both films are well-crafted and offer unique perspectives on the Batman mythology, making it difficult to choose between the two. **

The Dark Knight Batman can be seen as disturbing to some viewers due to his dark and brooding nature, as well as his use of fear and intimidation tactics. His vigilante methods and willingness to bend the rules in pursuit of justice can also be unsettling to some. However, others may find his complexity and moral ambiguity to be compelling and thought-provoking. Ultimately, whether or not Batman is disturbing is subjective and depends on individual perspectives. **

The Dark Knight ends with Batman taking the blame for Harvey Dent's crimes in order to preserve Dent's reputation as Gotham's "White Knight." Batman becomes a fugitive and goes into hiding, while Commissioner Gordon and the police pursue him. The film concludes with Gordon's son finding the Bat-signal and asking his father if Batman is the hero Gotham deserves but not the one it needs right now, to which Gordon responds, "He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a dark knight." **

In the movie "The Dark Knight," Batman ultimately defeats the Joker and saves Gotham City from his chaos. The movie ends with Batman fleeing from the police, leaving his future uncertain. **

In the movie "The Dark Knight," the fate of the Joker is left ambiguous. The last time we see the Joker, he is hanging upside down from a building and is apprehended by Batman.
